Safe Construction Sites Lead to Better Projects
In May, Viktoria Gierukas joined Head Energy PA as the new HSE Coordinator. With a background from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration and a master’s degree in societal safety, she brings valuable expertise to the company’s ongoing commitment to health, safety, and the working environment (HSE).
– We’ve experienced a growing need for HSE expertise within project management — both through client requests and in our own projects. With Viktoria on board, we’re strengthening our capacity to deliver high-quality safety management across all assignments, says Bengt Frantzen, Managing Director at Head Energy PA.

Bringing Valuable Experience to the Team
Viktoria brings extensive experience from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, where she was responsible for tunnel safety between Southern Norway and Bergen. As Fire Safety Manager, she worked closely with emergency preparedness, risk assessments, and safe operations in technically complex environments.
Her academic background — a master’s degree in societal safety — combined with hands-on experience from both engineering design and operations, gives her a strong balance of analytical expertise and practical understanding.

Keeping Safety at the Core
As HSE Coordinator, Viktoria plays a key role in ensuring that safety, health, and working environment standards are integrated throughout the entire project lifecycle. Acting as the link between clients and on-site personnel, she follows up contractors and ensures that safety requirements are implemented as effective, everyday practices.
– For me, good HSE work is about trust and safety — making sure everyone goes home just as healthy as when they arrived. It’s about being visible, creating understanding of risk, and finding practical ways to make daily work both safer and easier for everyone involved, Viktoria explains.
